Foundations, Inc. prides itself on completing project-specific tasks
in a timely, cost-effective manner, while attaining strict quality
standards. Our Auger Cast Pile system is not only cost-effective,
but it minimizes sound and reduces vibration during installation.
Pile depths are determined by certified Geotechnical Engineers who
confirm proper installation and integrity of piles on site.
Auger Cast-in-Place Piles are 12 in. -16 in. in diameter. Depth
depends on load bearing needs and soil conditions. Piles are reinforced
in accordance with engineering specifications. Placement of piles
is accomplished with our crane derrick (for deep piles) or our mobile
drill rig (for shallow piles).
Helical piles are ideally suited for projects that specify a 7 to 19 ton load capacity as well as jobs where there is limited site access for auger cast pile equipment, i.e., pools building additions and site walls. They are installed using a small front-end loader equipped with a hydraulic drill unit and are screwed into the ground generating minimal noise and vibration.
Pin Piles are small diameter galvanized steel pipes driven to refusal,
filled with a high strength grout and reinforced. They are primarily
used for underpinning and projects requiring lighter loads such
as spas, decks, and privacy walls.
When soil conditions require transmitting a structure's load to
deeper, more adequate soil conditions, piles are required.
A continuous flight auger with a hollow shaft is advanced into the
ground to a predetermined depth. High strength grout is pumped under
pressure through the auger as it is slowly withdrawn from the bore
hole. Steel reinforcement is then placed into the pile using spacers
to ensure proper centering.
